Your journey then continues south to Lagos in the Algarve, a region famous for golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, turquoise water and spectacular coastal scenery. Enjoy a boat tour along the Lagos coastline and explore some of the Algarve’s most beautiful caves and rock formations.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Lisbon
Welcome to Portugal!
Upon arrival at Lisbon International Airport, meet your driver and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel.
After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to relax or begin exploring Lisbon independently. Walk through the nearby streets, enjoy a traditional Portuguese café or experience the city’s lively evening atmosphere.

Day 2 – Lisbon City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Lisbon.
Discover the city’s most important neighborhoods and landmarks, which may include the historic district of Belém, Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, Jerónimos Monastery, Praça do Comércio, Rossio Square and the traditional streets of Alfama.
Enjoy beautiful views, colorful buildings and the unique atmosphere of Portugal’s capital.
After the tour, the remainder of the day is free for shopping, dining or independent sightseeing.

Day 3 – Lisbon at Leisure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a free day in Lisbon.
Explore the city at your own pace, ride the historic tram, visit local markets, enjoy Portuguese cuisine or discover Lisbon’s famous viewpoints.
An optional full-day excursion to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca may also be arranged.

Day 4 – Lisbon to Porto by Train
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and meet your driver for a private transfer to the railway station.
Travel by intercity train from Lisbon to Porto. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel.
After check-in, enjoy free time to explore Porto’s beautiful streets, cafés and riverside area.

Day 5 – Porto City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Porto.
Explore the historic city center and see some of Porto’s most famous attractions, which may include Avenida dos Aliados, São Bento Railway Station, Clérigos Tower, Porto Cathedral, the Ribeira district and the Dom Luís I Bridge.
Admire the colorful buildings along the Douro River and experience the unique character of northern Portugal.
The remainder of the day is free.

Day 6 – Porto at Leisure
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure.
Walk along the Douro River, visit local shops, enjoy traditional Portuguese food or explore Vila Nova de Gaia across the river.
An optional Douro Valley excursion, river cruise or wine-tasting experience may be arranged.
Overnight in Porto.
Day 7 – Porto to Lagos, Algarve
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Porto railway station.
Travel by train from Porto to the Algarve. Depending on the selected train schedule, a connection may be required during the journey.
Upon arrival at the designated Algarve/Tunes railway station, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in Lagos.
Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Explore Lagos Old Town, the marina or the nearby beaches.
Overnight in Lagos.
Day 8 – Lagos Coastal Boat Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat tour along the beautiful Lagos coastline.
Sail past golden cliffs, hidden beaches, natural arches, rock formations and sea caves. Depending on weather and sea conditions, the tour may include views of Ponta da Piedade and other famous coastal landmarks.
After the boat tour, enjoy free time to relax on the beach or explore Lagos.

Day 9 – Algarve at Leisure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a free day in the Algarve.
Relax beside the sea, visit Praia Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo or Meia Praia, walk through Lagos Old Town or enjoy the town’s restaurants, cafés and marina.
Optional activities such as kayaking, dolphin watching, a Benagil Cave excursion or a full-day Algarve coastal tour may be arranged.

Day 10 – Lagos to Lisbon and Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the railway station.
Travel by train from the Algarve to Lisbon.
